Picture Your Child’s Day

MORNING
The day begins with breakfast and greeting time, followed by large-group music and movement, then your child’s own Work Time — a full hour to choose activities and follow their own ideas.

MIDDAY
After outdoor time and lunch, children settle into a quiet rest period, with calm activities available for those who don’t nap.
AFTERNOON
The afternoon brings small group learning, more outdoor play, and a Recall Time where your child talks through what they explored that day — reinforcing what they’ve learned.

Your Child Plans The Day — Then Reflects On It

Using the HighScope approach, your Young Pre-K student chooses their own activities during Work Time, then talks through what they discovered during Recall Time. It's a simple daily rhythm that builds planning skills, independence, and real confidence in their own ideas.

Teachers Trained In The HighScope Approach

Our Young Pre-K teachers are background-checked, CPR and First Aid-certified, and trained to guide — not direct — your child’s learning. They know that the best way to prepare a child for what’s next is to let them lead the way.
